    Sweet Potato Chickpea Vegan Burger

    Lately, I’ve been wanting to create more healthy vegan recipes for my family. This one is a hit. Kids love them and my husband, too.     My family loves to drink smoothies! We drink at least one per day, and to be honest kids’ favorite is a banana smoothie. 🙂 I love it too, but I like to play with other fruits and make a different kind of smoothies like this one blueberry orange smoothie.     Chocolate Chia Breakfast Parfait

    This is one of my favorite breakfasts! I love that I can prepare everything the night before and just throw everything together in the morning, so within a minute my breakfast is ready. Great for the kids too! Here is the recipe! Enjoy! Ingredients: 1/4 cup chia seeds 1 cup almond milk 1 tsp raw cacao powder 2 tsp raw honey fruit of your choice Instructions: 1 cup almond milk and 1/4 cup chia seeds whip with a fork.     Simple Avocado Toast

    Avocado toast is one of my favorite breakfasts. It is so easy to make and super filling that you will not feel hungry for hours! Ingredients: 1 ripe avocado 1/2 lemon Himalayan pink salt – to taste 2 slices of bread of your choice (I used homemade whole wheat bread) cherry tomatoes – cut in quarters Instructions: Toast whole wheat bread for few minutes. Peel avocado and mash it with a fork in a small plate. Add juice of 1/2 lemon. Add a pinch of Himalayan pink salt. Combine everything together and spread mixture on a slice of whole wheat toast.     Basil Orange Banana Smoothie

    I love basil, especially in smoothies and salads. Basil is one of the most versatile herbs with numerous health benefits. It is great anti-oxidant and has anti-bacterial properties  So today’s post is going to be my favorite basil smoothie. Ingredients: 1.5 cup fresh squeezed orange juice 1/2 cup of ice cubes 1 small ripe banana 4-5 basil leaves Directions: Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender, and blend until completely smooth.
