Simple Avocado Toast

Avocado toast is one of my favorite breakfasts. It is so easy to make and super filling that you will not feel hungry for hours!

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado

1/2 lemon

Himalayan pink salt – to taste

2 slices of bread of your choice (I used homemade whole wheat bread)

cherry tomatoes – cut in quarters

Instructions:

  1. Toast whole wheat bread for few minutes.
  2. Peel avocado and mash it with a fork in a small plate.
  3. Add juice of 1/2 lemon.
  4. Add a pinch of Himalayan pink salt.
  5. Combine everything together and spread mixture on a slice of whole wheat toast.
  6. Slice cherry tomatoes in quarters and put them on top of the avocado toast.
  7. Possibilities are endless. Top it with micro greens, cilantro or hemp seeds (my favorite). My husband loves to top it with the egg slices and dried oregano. We love THIS egg slicer.
