Easy Vegetable Quinoa Salad
My protein packed salad to go is always some variation of quinoa salad. It is light, healthy, and great for lunch, dinner or picnic. I like to cook quinoa in advance since it can be stored in a fridge for 2-3 days, or you can even freeze quinoa and defrost in just a minute in the microwave. Quinoa can be found in bulk bins or packed on the shelves. I always buy organic quinoa in bulk at Whole Foods Market. The most important benefit of quinoa is that it is a high source of protein, iron, magnesium, fiber. It has a mild nutty flavor and sort of crunchy texture. If…

Stripes + Faux Leather
Stripes are always in season, right? You can’t go wrong with a stylish striped tee like this one. I love to buy tees that I can wear day to night. This one caught my eye because I can wear it with leggings, jeans or faux leather pants – as I wore it the other day. If you’re headed to the park with your kiddos, ditch the leather pants and pair the tee with jeans and converse sneakers. I personally don’t believe that horizontal stripes make you look wider. I look just the same as in a plain black tee. Lol. What do you guys think? Striped Tee (wearing Small) / Faux…
