Refreshing Watermelon Juice Recipe + Organic Clothes

Watermelon juice recipe

Hot days are coming so I wanted to share one of my favorite refreshing drinks.

Besides the lemonade that I drink every single morning, this is my must-have drink during the summer!

It is super easy to make. My kids know how to make it. 🙂 Also, I’m strongly encouraging you to involve your kids in preparing healthy drinks and meals. This helps them avoiding unhealthy choices and developing healthy habits.

Most children look up to their parents, so it is important to set a good example. I’m trying my best. 🙂

Refreshing Watermelon Lemon Juice

Ingredients:

3 cups watermelon cubes

1 cup ice cubes

2 TBSP agave or date syrup (Fresh dates would work too if you have Vitamix because it blends it perfectly)

1/2 cup lemon juice

mint leaves (optional)

For this recipe I blended approximately 6-7 mint leaves. Of course, the color of the drink will not be super red if that bothers you. 🙂

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender. I like to use Vitamix but any other will work.
  2. Pour into a glass and drink on a hot day. 🙂 It is so refreshing.

This is the way my kids love to eat watermelon.

The classic way is to slice it into hand held piece but they prefer this way because it is less messy and face actually stay clean. haha

Organic Clothes

In this photo we’re wearing organic clothes that we absolutely love.

My son’s shirt is the softest material and he says super comfy.

My dress can be worn as a tunic and has pockets. It can be the only piece that you wear during the summer.

I love how versatile it is and can be dressed up or down.

I wear it with camo leggings also made from organic cotton. They are slightly hi-rise and hold up really well. Oh, and comes in several colors.

I absolutely love the WearPact brand and they are always having some great items on clearance.
