French Style: A Beret and a Scarf

You’ve probably heard that beret, scarf, white blouse, and pointy pumps are a must for a French style. I love how classic and sophisticated Parisian style is, so I wanted to create my own. This is such a simple and classic look. You can wear a trench coat with this look. It is such an easy and buildable outfit.

These white pants (similar) are so comfy! Such a great staple for any closet.

French style must-have pieces

White Top

Parisian chic usually consists of a white crisp fitted blouse. I decided to wear a lace top instead. This top gives such a feminine look which I love. It fits like a glove and comes in tons of colors. The next color I’m getting is teal! I love that it is off the shoulder. It comes with undergarment but in this photo, I’m wearing it just with a nude colored bra. So comfy and so pretty on. It has a bit of stretch to make it super comfortable. So unique!

Beret

I’ve had one black beret that I bought years ago in Europe and honestly didn’t wear it a lot. When I saw the red beret at the HM store it instantly grabbed my attention. I thought, well, I don’t wear a lot of red clothes so that would be the perfect pop of red! You can see the photo of me wearing a red beret here.

Gray is a popular and more wearable color for Fall and Winter, so I thought to do Parisian chic with a gray beret instead.

Scarf

A blanket scarf is always a nice accessory and it can keep you really warm during the winter time. I love to take mine to the movies, it’s usually super cold there. 🙂

You can wear a scarf tied, or just as a cover-up (poncho style).

Pointy pumps

High pointy heels are not the most comfies but they make your legs looks fabulous. They always look super chic and what I really love about them: They ARE timeless. Pointy pumps never go out of style! I really like this brand with a lower 3-inch heel so I can walk in them all day long. 🙂

Pants

I wanted to wear all white so the beret and the scarf can pop out. Parisian style usually calls for black pants or dark denim pants/jeans, but I really like how it turns out with all white.
