Kimono: Trend to Try -

I have always loved to wear a kimono during the Spring/Summer time. They are such genius things: versatile, comfy, and fashionable! It is a perfect transition piece for that in between the season period. They are also perfect to wear on a summer day that’s not too hot.

This particular one is by CHICWISH, and I love the length and bell sleeves so much! It has a removable belt, which is a big plus! White color makes it an easy layering piece, goes with everything. Believe me!

Kimono is a Japanese traditional garment usually found in silk materials. Modern kimono has been updated and can be found in many different materials, sheer, lace, often with fringes and bold colors.

How to wear a kimono

Kimono is an excellent base for so many outfits. My favorite way to wear a kimono is over a plain outfit.

It goes perfectly over:

bodycon dresses

tank tops and jeans

tees and shorts

as a beach cover-up.

My go-to with a kimono would be to wear them with any skinny jeans, but I think that it would look great with flared jeans too. That way it looks even more boho, right?

Flare jeans or pants also elongate your legs.

What is great about kimonos is that they work for all body types! They are super comfy and great for covering up!
