Breakfast Smoothie Bowl
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I love to nourish my body and to start my day with something like this. My kids love smoothie bowls too, so I make a variety of these bowls for them. Making this smoothie from start to finish usually takes about 10 minutes, so it is really fast and easy to make.
Servings: 1 bowl
Base:
- 1 1/2 frozen banana
- 2 medium sized oranges or 1 big orange
- 1 kiwi
Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender until smooth. Make sure it is thick and creamy otherwise the toppings will sink.
My number one kitchen appliance is a Vitamix. I know it is a splurge, but so worth it. I use mine every day.
Toppings:
- 5 fresh strawberries
- 1 tsp bee pollen
