Faux Leather Skirt for Everyday Wear
It is time to say bye to Fall and welcome the best time of the year. Time to bring out faux leather skirts and warm wool coats! I think this outfit is great to wear in between seasons. Perfect to switch to a winter wardrobe, with some good tights on.
I bought a black faux leather skirt a few years ago, and I wore it to death! 🙂 I really wanted a camel/brown faux leather skirt. I think that it goes perfectly with black, white, gray, and all neutral shades.
Here are my rules when wearing a (faux) leather skirt:
- Pencil leather skirt is better paired with a loose fitting top. That’s why I wore this plaid shirt instead of a tank top. It looks more sophisticated that way.
- If the skirt is pleated or A-line, I would wear a form-fitting top or fitted blouse.
- For the waistline, I like it to be high. I feel like it helps keep everything in place. Lol. Plus you don’t have to worry if you wear a crop top.
- To make it work for more conservative occasions, pair it with an oversized sweater and over the knee boots. You can still look great without showing any skin.
- For going out, add a heel to your faux leather skirt. In winter you can add tights and pumps, and during the summer pair it with
.a simple sandals
Faux leather skirts are great because they add a dose of edge to any outfit. (this one under $25)
