Whitening Sensitive Teeth at Home + Giveaway

Hello friends!

I’m so excited to be teaming up with Smile Brilliant to share how I’ve been whitening my teeth.

I’ve always had pretty much white teeth, but lately, I’ve started to drink coffee every day and noticed that my teeth are not as white as they used to be before.

This was my very first time to whiten my teeth. In the past, I was doubtful to whiten because of the possible sensitivity of teeth. When I heard that Smile Brilliant offer professional whitening system for sensitive teeth I was super excited!

The Smile Brilliant custom teeth whitening kit is just like what you’d receive at the dentist, and it is much affordable.

What you will get?

When you receive the package, they will give you instructions that go step by step on how to mold your teeth.

The kit that you will get

The kit contains three sets of base putty and catalyst. You just mix one base putty and one catalyst and press it into the molds. After 30 seconds carefully press the molds over your upper teeth. Then you repeat the step for your bottom teeth. In case that you don’t make a good impression, you have an extra set to repeat the process! I actually used the third one.

The next step is to mail them to Smile Brilliant in the pre-paid envelope provided. After a few days, you receive your custom-fitted whitening trays. They look just like this:

They fit perfectly! Unlike whitening strips, these stay in place and the gel can reach every angle of the tooth! The best!

Whitening

Brush your teeth with water only. Fluoride in toothpaste can reduce whitening effectiveness. Put a thin line of whitening gel along the front, outer surface of trays. Dry your teeth and insert your trays carefully.

First few times I whitened my teeth for 45 minutes just to adjust and get used to the product.

Then I gradually increased the time to 1.5 hours. The maximum that you can whiten your teeth is 3 hours.

I felt a little sensitivity at my lower gums only for the first two times.

After the treatment brush your teeth as normal with toothpaste and follow the same steps using desensitizing gel. This gel diminishes tooth sensitivity, which really helped me a lot! It also replenishes the natural minerals in your teeth, and prevent new stains from forming.

After 25 minutes take out your trays and spit, do not brush your teeth.

I scheduled my treatments always at the night time right before bed, so that I don’t need to eat or drink after. That way the gel have plenty of time to soak in and do their thing.

It is very easy to use while reading a book or watching TV.

Overall, I am really happy with the results as you can see in my photos.

I think Smile Brilliant is the best at home teeth whitening system. I loved how effective, easy, convenient and affordable it is. I will definitely use this the next time I need to whiten. I still have leftover of gel, so I’m super happy about it.

Thanks Smile Brilliant, I have my white teeth back and can smile fearlessly in photos!
