How to wear a leather jacket

Dressing between seasons can be tricky. I often end up either too cold or too hot. One item I always reach for is a leather jacket. It’s such a great staple for in between seasons and I’ll show you how to wear a leather jacket.

A leather jacket is great not only because it goes with pretty much anything from jeans to skirts, but also because you can wear it any time of the year, which makes it a great investment.
The leather jacket is an item you’re likely to spend a bit of money, and choosing the wrong option can be a waste of money. It is important to choose the right one. The good thing is they will last a long time.

~Fit~

Well fitted jacket can change the look of any outfit instantly.
Typically leather jackets should fit slightly looser or snug, but it should never be too big. No boyfriend look this time.

~Color~

If you’re buying your first leather jacket it’s not the time to opt for a bold colored look or trendy details. Black or brown should be a great option and you’ll never get sick of it. I personally like to stick with neutral colors.

~Style~

When it comes to style, I like them all. From bomber to biker jackets. Whatever style you choose always look for minimal details. You can always elevate the look by adding layers, scarfs or jewelry.

I always buy versatile leather jackets. This is important because you want to make sure you can get a lot of wear from the jacket you choose.
